Harvest Summit is the L.O.S Farms hub: an island in the sea with eight cities, villages, farmland and a railway, where farmers walk around, hang out, run shops and chat with the people near them. It's on the website, so it works in the launcher, in any browser, and on phones.
Getting there
Press โฐ๏ธ Summit in the site menu, or the โฐ๏ธ Summit button at the top of the game page. You arrive by the Harvest Fountain in the Town Square.
Your farmer
You're your own FarmVille avatar, in the clothes you picked in the game. The game sends your look to the Summit when you load it, and again whenever you save a new look, so play the game once after an update and your farmer shows up as you. Until then you're the classic FarmVille starter farmer.
Walking around
- Click or tap the ground to walk there; your farmer finds the way around trees and buildings.
- Arrow keys or WASD walk too. Hold Shift to run (on a phone, tap twice).
- Drag the ground to look around, and scroll or pinch to zoom.
- The map in the corner shows the whole Summit and the farmers in it: click it to walk there. Go to takes you to each district.
The eight cities
Every city is laid out like a real city from its country, in that country's own style, and every building in the Summit is one of a kind, drawn by the L.O.S Farms team. Summit City is the capital.
| City | Inspired by | What's there |
|---|---|---|
| Summit City (the capital) | ๐บ๐ธ New York | Long avenues and a Central Park; diners, theatres and Art Deco towers. The Summit State Building (the leaderboard), City Hall (forums), the Public Library (wiki), the Auction House and the Guild Hall (clans). |
| Maple Ridge | ๐จ๐ฆ Quebec | A walled Upper Town on the clifftops; chalets, chateaux and log lodges, totem poles and canoes. |
| Lantern Town | ๐จ๐ณ China | A walled town with canals and bridges; courtyard houses, teahouses, dragons and lanterns. |
| Siam Gardens | ๐น๐ญ Bangkok | A palace island inside its moat; Thai houses, temples, shophouses and tuk-tuks. |
| Sydney Cove | ๐ฆ๐บ Sydney | A quay, a park and a harbour opening into the bay; terraces, pubs, coastal houses, lighthouses and surfboards. |
| Marigold City | ๐ฎ๐ณ Jaipur | A walled city of bazaars and squares; havelis, palaces, temples, rangoli and elephant statues. |
| Desert Pearl | ๐ฆ๐ช Old Dubai | Both banks of a creek; riads, souks and kasbahs, Moroccan fountains and palm groves. |
| Sakura City | ๐ฏ๐ต Tokyo | Small blocks and lanes; machiya, pagodas and ryokan, stone lanterns and koi ponds. |
Between the cities: patchwork farmland that changes with the seasons, thick woods, six villages (Willowbrook, Hazelford, Oakhollow, Saltmarsh Bay, Brambleton and Pinecrest), highways with bridges over the river, and a railway with stations, real trains from around the world and shuttles on the branch lines. Sandy beaches, headlands and little islets ring the island.
The Summit's buildings are in the game's Market too, under L.O.S Originals โบ Harvest Summit, sorted by city.
Turn the view with the โฒ โณ buttons at the top (or Q and E) to see the Summit from all four sides. Signs, boards and buildings with a โ cursor open things around the site, or show a message.
The seasons ๐ธโ๏ธ๐โ๏ธ
Every building, tree and decoration in the Summit is the Summit's own, and they all change with the season:
| Season | When | What you'll see |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ธ Spring | March to May | Fresh green grass with daisies, blossom on the trees, petals in the air. |
| โ๏ธ Summer | June to August | Deep green, flowers in bloom, fireflies on summer nights. |
| ๐ Fall | September to November | Red, orange and gold trees, leaves on the ground and in the air, autumn hills. |
| โ๏ธ Winter | December to February | Snow on every roof, lawn and path, bare trees, a frozen fountain, snowy hills and falling snow. |
The pine trees stay green all year. Staff can also set a season for events.
Shops ๐ช
Every shop, store and hall in all eight cities can be rented: buildings marked For rent. Click one to rent it.
- The bigger the building, the higher the rent and the more it holds: from 1,500 coins a week for a small stall holding 4 different items, up to big stores holding 24.
- You can have one shop. Rent is paid in coins, a week at a time, up to four weeks ahead. Click your shop to pay more.
- Put things on sale from your Gift Box: pick the item, how many (up to 99) and its price in coins. They leave your Gift Box while they're on sale.
- Sell things from your other L.O.S games too: a shop can sell items from L.O.S City, L.O.S Pet Society, L.O.S The Ville and L.O.S Restaurant City (the games that let players give things away). Pick where to sell from when you stock your shop, and close that game first. Anything that doesn't sell goes back to the game it came from.
- Other farmers click your shop to buy. The coins come straight to you, and what they bought goes to their Gift Box, or into their game for items from another game.
- Give your shop a name, a colour and a line about it. Its sign shows over the building for everyone.
- When the rent runs out, or you close the shop, anything unsold goes back where it came from. Rent already paid isn't refunded.
Clan halls ๐ฐ
- A clan's leader can rent a Clan Hall (each city's two biggest buildings) or one of sixteen Clan Castles in the countryside, from 25,000 coins a week. One each clan. Your clan's banner and crest fly over it.
- Anyone can click it to look round: members, points and clan news, and join (or ask to join, if it's invite only).
- Any member can pay the rent. The leader can accept or decline requests, remove members, post clan news, and change the clan's name, description, crest and who can join. It's the same clan as in the game.
- The Guild Hall in Summit City lists every clan, and walks you to its hall.
Your games in the Summit ๐ฎ
- Every L.O.S game you play gets a building beside your farm, flying that game's flag with your rank there. It grows with your level in that game, in five stages: L.O.S City goes from a Post Office to a Skyscraper, L.O.S Castle from a Cottage to a Grand Castle, The Ville from a Cabin to a Villa, Restaurant City from a Cafรฉ to a Grand Restaurant, and every other game has its own.
- Your farm and your game buildings show a bar with how far you are from the next stage, and what it becomes.
The Auction House ๐จ
The grandest building in Summit City. Its six lots stand on pedestals out front, and a lot shows SOLD when it's gone. Click the house or a pedestal to browse and buy: what you buy goes to your Gift Box.
Talking: proximity chat ๐ฌ
The Summit's chat works like real life: the farmers near you hear you.
- Press Enter, type, and press Enter again. What you say shows in a speech bubble over your farmer, and in the chat log.
- Farmers within 14 squares read your words. A little farther (up to 32 squares) they just see "โฆ": someone's talking over there.
- ๐ฃ Shout (or start a message with
!) to be heard up to 28 squares away. You can shout once every 30 seconds. - ๐ React with an emoji that floats above your head.
- Staff can ๐ข announce to the whole Summit.
The Summit uses the same rules as the rest of chat. Messages are kept for 14 days so the staff can look into reports.
Staying safe
- Click a farmer to see their profile, report them or block them. Blocked farmers disappear for you, with their messages.
- โ next to a message in the chat log reports it to the staff.
- Staff can mute farmers in the Summit or send them back to the fountain.
Good to know
- The sky follows the time of day in US Eastern time: dawn, day, dusk, and a moonlit night with lamps glowing.
- Nothing you do in the Summit changes your farm, and nothing in it costs Farm Cash.
- Your farmer sits out (๐ค) after 5 minutes without moving, and you leave the Summit when you close the page.
