Coins#

Coins are the main currency. You earn them by harvesting crops, trees, and animals, completing quests, mastery stars, and selling items. Most seeds, animals, and decorations cost coins.

Farm Cash#

Farm Cash buys the special items, finishes things early, and pays for extras like club subscriptions. On L.O.S Farms, Farm Cash is never sold for real money and has no real-world value. You earn it:

• By levelling up in the game.
• In our Discord: care packages that drop in chat (5 to 100 Farm Cash, first to click wins), /daily, /weekly, and /monthly rewards, Discord games, giveaways, and your birthday. See Discord Bot & Rewards.
• From the Farmdex: every new animal and every shiny you catch, plus a care package for every 50 animals. See Farmdex Guide.
• From community goals: server-wide goals where everyone who helps shares the reward.
• From money makers: the Cash Cow, Money Tree, Money Bush, and Money Plant pay Farm Cash once a day.
• From events and contests: league rewards, the Treetop Fair, and more.

Care packages you receive wait on the website's Care Packages page until you open them.

Farm currencies#

Many farms have their own currency: village coins in Farmville Village, coconuts on the tropical farms, and so on. Each farm's currency starts at its usual amount on your first visit and is only spent on that farm. You can buy more with Farm Cash on that farm.

League events have their own currencies too (Wreath Bows, Bora Bora money, and so on). See Leagues.

Fuel#

Vehicles use fuel. Crafted goods can be turned into fuel, and fuel adds up however much you have.

Experience and levels#

Almost every action on the farm earns experience points (XP): plowing, planting, harvesting, crafting, quests, and mastery stars. Enough XP raises your level, which unlocks new crops, animals, and buildings in the Market, and opens features like Farmers Clans (level 5), the growing contests (level 15), and Fisherman's Cove's story (level 15).

• See how you compare with other farmers on the Leaderboard.
• Your level also shows next to your name in chat and on your profile.

Badges#

Badges are awarded for things you do on the site and in the game: forum posts, wiki edits, sharing farm photos, opening care packages, Cash Cow payouts, item clubs, clans, leagues, helping neighbors, mastery stars, and more.
