Neighbors were the heart of FarmVille, and on L.O.S Farms every farmer on the server can be your neighbor.

Adding neighbors#

Send neighbor requests from the in-game neighbor bar. If you're already neighbors with every farmer, the Add Neighbors tab tells you so. You can turn on automatic acceptance of neighbor requests in your profile settings, and removing a neighbor in the game removes you from each other's lists.

Visiting and helping#

Visit a neighbor's farm and help out by fertilizing crops, feeding chickens, or scaring away pests. You can send and help up to 100 times a day.

Free gifts#

The free gift picker shows every giftable item (nearly 200). You can send each gift to each neighbor once a day, and it arrives in their Gift Box.

Asking for help#

When a building, quest, or event needs something only friends can give (building parts, quest items, shovels, Love Potions, and so on), press Ask in the game.

• You get one straight away, so you're never stuck without neighbors: one free item every 5 minutes per item (quest items come up to 3 at a time).
• Your neighbors get a request. Friends you pick in the friend selector get it; wall-post style asks go to all your neighbors. Each neighbor can send one per request, it's free for them, and requests stay open for 3 days.
• Quest items count toward your task as they arrive.

Answering requests#

Look for the 🙋 Requests button at the top of the game page, or Neighbor Requests in the site menu. Press Send to put one in your neighbor's Gift Box. You also get a site notification. For a Discord message too, turn on "A neighbor asks me for help in the game" in Profile → Discord.

Part requests also show up in our Discord's #help-requests channel. Anyone with a linked farm can press 🎁 Send 1 to help, up to 5 helpers per request.

Chat#

The chat bubble at the bottom-right of every page has public chat, direct messages, and rooms that open while a holiday or league event runs.

• Reactions and emoji: press 😊 for 30 reactions, including real FarmVille icons. React to a message with 😊+.
• Mentions and replies: type @Name to get someone's attention, or reply with ↩ to quote a message. Either way they get a notification.
• Show off: 🏆 posts your farm level, a badge, or a farm photo as a card.
• Send a gift: 🎁 on someone's message sends them a free gift (up to 20 a day).
• Profiles: click a name or picture to see that farmer's profile.
• Who's around: see who's typing and who's online.

Staying safe in chat#

• Report: hover any message and click ⚑ to tell the staff. You can block the person at the same time.
• Block: blocking hides their messages everywhere, and neither of you can send the other a direct message. Your blocked list is in Account settings → Privacy.
• Who can message you: also in Privacy: anyone, your neighbors and members you follow, or nobody. It starts on neighbors and members you follow. Staff can always reach you.

Farm photos#

Click the 📷 camera in the game's toolbar (next to the zoom buttons), then Save. Add a caption and press Share, or Keep private. Shared photos appear in our Discord's #screenshots channel, on the Screenshots tab of your profile, and on everyone's loading screen with your name. You can remove one from your profile at any time, which also removes it from Discord.

Your profile#

Your profile shows your farm, badges, favorite items, screenshots, and social links. Paste a link to any site (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X, Bluesky, your own website…) and it shows as a button with that site's logo. Avatar frames and name effects are in Profile → Appearance; each unlocks with a game badge.

Clans#

Want a team? Farmers Clans hold up to 10 farmers, with their own chat and clan events.
