L.O.S Farms is a community project, and the forums and wiki are how we keep it going. This page explains the features.

Forums#

• Prefixes — tag a new thread as a Question, Guide, Bug, Suggestion, Discussion, Trade, or Showcase. Forums can be filtered by prefix.
• Mentions — write @Name (or @"Two Words" for names with spaces) to notify someone. Start typing after @ for suggestions.
• Quote — press Quote on a post to copy it into your reply. Select part of a post first to quote only that part.
• Reactions — 👍 ❤️ 😂 😮 🌻 under every post.
• Watching — you automatically watch threads you start or reply to, and get a notification when someone replies. Use the Watch button to change that.
• Notifications — the 🔔 in the header shows replies, mentions, reactions, and solutions.
• New posts — threads with posts you haven't read are marked New; click it to jump to the first unread post.
• Solutions — whoever started a thread can mark the reply that solved it. Solved threads are tagged so others can find answers quickly.
• Report — if a post breaks the rules, use Report to alert the staff.
• Drafts — your unsent reply is saved in your browser, so a reload won't lose it.
• Search — search every thread title and post from the forums page.

Wiki#

• Anyone can edit — members can edit most pages with the Edit Page button. A few pages, like the legal pages, are protected and staff-only.
• History — every save is kept. Open History to see who changed what, compare versions, and restore an older version if something goes wrong.
• Links — link to another page with [[Farming Basics]], or [[farming-basics|your own text]]. Link to an item with its name, like [[Cow]]. A red link means the page doesn't exist yet — click it to create it.
• Headings — ## Heading starts a section. Pages with three or more get a table of contents automatically.
• Recent changes — see every recent edit across the wiki.

Please keep the wiki accurate: add sources for history and facts, and mark anything you're unsure of.

Your profile#

• Themes — pick how the whole site looks for you under Profile → Theme, including dark ones.
• Badges — farming milestones, forum posts, wiki edits and more earn badges. Feature your favourites under Profile → Appearance.
• Frames and name effects — choose a frame around your picture and an effect for your name under Profile → Appearance. More unlock as you earn badges.
• One account, a look per site — your L.O.S account works on every L.O.S game's website, and each site remembers its own look, so your L.O.S Farms profile doesn't change your L.O.S Castle one.
• The L.O.S Marketplace — at losgames.xyz/marketplace you can get optional cosmetics for your profile: frames, name effects, banners, profile effects, title plates and emblems. They're cosmetic only and never change the game. Farm Cash and game items are never sold.

L.O.S Create#

L.O.S Create is a free studio for making your own art: decorations, buildings, trees, crops and animals ready for a FarmVille archive, plus banners, buttons, loading screens and pictures. Download what you make as a package. Drafts are kept for 6 hours after your last save, and work our team approves goes in a catalog where everyone can vote for it and download it.
